See Through. Thank You

You remember those X-Ray glasses advertised in the back of comic books. "Can See Through Anything!"

The conservative think tank Empire Center for New York State Policy is out with what's being heralded as the most comprehensive data base of government spending in the Empire State ever compiled for the public.

It may not come with cardboard glasses that have red circles in the lenses. But maybe it'll project those red circles as bullseyes on the people spending the state into oblivion.

Perhaps Governor Paterson and the legislature could bring it up on their laptops at the August 19 jamboree in Albany.
