"The Midtown Plaza project will not be impacted by these cost-saving measures," said Matt Anderson, a spokesperson with the state Division of the Budget. "Even in the midst of our current fiscal difficulties, Governor Paterson believes we still need to move on critical economic development projects that will create jobs for New Yorkers."
Next comes PAETEC's second quarter report. In it, and the company's response to adjusted earnings, we expect to hear where the telecom stands on its pledge to build its headquarters downtown and whether it'll be the Roc City landscape's new focal point.
